Cambridge Air Conditioning and Refrigeration has been serving homes and businesses across Cambridge and the surrounding area for a number of years. We install, service and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems, working with everything from a single bedroom unit in a Victorian terrace to multi-split commercial installations across larger premises.

How we work
What sets us apart is straightforward: we give honest advice before any money changes hands. If a repair makes more sense than a replacement, we will tell you. We size systems properly for the space rather than upselling capacity you do not need, and we explain running costs in plain terms so you know what you are committing to before we start.
Every job starts with a survey of the property - measuring the space, checking insulation, identifying where pipework and cables can run cleanly, and confirming where the external unit can sit without causing a nuisance to neighbours. Cambridge has a high concentration of listed buildings and properties in conservation areas, and we are experienced in working within those constraints, including liaising with planning officers where permitted development rights do not apply.
We only use equipment from established manufacturers with proven reliability in the UK climate, and all refrigerant work is carried out by our F-Gas certified engineers. Manufacturer warranties on equipment vary by brand and product, but we always register the unit on your behalf and provide full documentation so any future claim is straightforward. Our workmanship is carried out to industry standards, and we stand behind the quality of every installation.

We install and commission
Pressure-tested, vacuumed, charged and set up with you, with the readings written down and left behind.
